The renowned American actress, Eva Longoria, has starred in a documentary series dedicated to Spain, the land of her ancestors. Titled “Recorriendo España” (Exploring Spain), the Texan explores Spanish gastronomy and culture in several episodes, giving significant attention to the world of wine.
In the episode dedicated to Galicia, Ferrol-born chef Daniel López, from the restaurant O Camiño Inglés, accompanies the American superstar for a day in which Longoria learns firsthand how barnacles are harvested.
Later, on San Jorge beach, just a few meters from the vineyard of the Blanco Legítimo grape variety cultivated by Bodegas El Paraguas in the Ferrol parish of Esmelle; Longoria, López, and two local fishermen share experiences and stories at a table accompanied by Astillero 2021 wine. At this moment, Eva Longoria takes the opportunity to toast those present with the wine created by Marcial Pita and Felicísimo Pereira.

Bodegas El Paraguas has just received, for the fourth time in its short history, the award for Best Wine in Spain according to the AEPEV (Asociación Española de Periodistas y Escritores del Vino).
