Its Astillero 2020 wine, made with the bunches of the Blanco Legítimo grape variety that the production house pampers in its small vineyard in Ferrol, has received 93 points by The Wine Advocate, known as Parker points. Publication linked to the Guía Michelín and that can be considered, like this, the most influential and prestigious editorial in the world of international wine.
With these 93 points, Astillero 2020 wine becomes the BEST VALUED WINE made with the historic Blanco Legítimo variety. There is no other wine participated by the Blanco Legítimo variety with a higher rating in the latest issue of The Wine Advocate Robert Parker, the number 259 that came out on February 28, 2022. A milestone that places the wine from Esmelle, in its first commercial harvest, as the best of all those that inhabit Galicia, Asturias and León made with the Blanco Legítimo grape variety. The wine, in less than 24 hours, has been exhausted in the cellar; and customers have requested a quota for the 2021 vintage, which is still being produced.
The assessment of Astillero 2020 gests added to the rest of the excellent ratings achieved by the wines that Bodegas El Paraguas also produces in the Avia del Ribeiro Valley. From the 94+ of La Sombrilla 2018, through the 94 points of Fai un Sol de Carallo 2017 to the 93+ of the well-known El Paraguas Atlántico 2019.
